Northwest Mosquito Abatement District uses the programs below to target different disease-borne and nuisance mosquitoes, creating a well-rounded mosquito management plan for the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County.

Daytime Larvicide

NPDES Permit

Northwest Mosquito Abatement District applies for a NPDES permit every three years. The permit allows NWMAD to implement a larvicide plan to control the mosquito population.
